It is a hat day

The weather here hasn't been the greatest. James was getting a little cabin fever. So I let him try on some of Daddy many hats. At first he really didn't know what to think about it.He kept himself busy most of the morning with this one hat. What it like to be that little again....

18 Month Check Up

Wednesday James had his 18 month check up. He is very healthy and right where he should be for his age. He is in the 50% for his weight. His height was 75% for his age group( which we ALL know that he didn't get that from ME) Well I didn't believe them, I came home and measured him,which wasn't easy.Yep they are right:)His head was 95% for his age( well we ALL know who he got that from, James)

New Haircut

We took James to get his hair cut the day before James left. He did really good considering how he flipped out last time. He sat in the chair all by himself. He never tried to get out of the chair.But he did cry the whole time. James and Eric (who cut his hair) even tried giving him a sucker to have(which I would never do) when I stepped away to get money. James didn't want anything to do with that at all!So that is what is red all over his face .Poor little guy. He just wanted it over with

I LOVE these Pictures

but the sad part is that I didn't even take them. My good friend Twila came over with her new DSLR camera for me to play with and to take some pictures of James. I LOVE her new camera. James if you are reading this, I REALLY would like one:) I think they turned out good considering that these pictures were taking only minutes after he woke up from a nap. Can you tell Mom takes a lot of pictures. He is a pro at it.

Christmas 08 Day 2

Sorry it took my so long to post these. Things have been a bit crazy around here. James is deploying very soon. Anyone that has had a deploying spouse knows the craziness of a couple of weeks( and days) prior to them leaving. These pictures really didn't come out I wanted them too.
