Keepsake This Year

This is the one we got this year for Lil James. He is very into coloring. Every morning he gets out his pad of paper and goes to town. So when I saw this , I knew this was the one to get.

Halloween 09

I went back and forth about him going out this year. If you are a parent to a child with food allergies, you totally understand. Then I thought he needs to be a kid and have fun. So with his Epi pen in his backpack we left.I first he really didn't want anything to do with wearing his costume. I thought" well our night is over". But after we got outside he was doing much better.Here are a few pictures...

Pumpkin Patch

We took James to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.He had a great time. He is old enough his year to pick out some pumpkins. He was in love with this wooden horses, he had a hard time getting him off of them so we could find some pumpkins. The best part was the " corn pit" . James and Daddy had a good time playing in it. They played in it for over a hour! James was worn out after that, he slept all the way home!

Family Update

Sorry life has been insane around here! This picture was taken 2 days before our "hell week" started. I had to call 911 twice in two days. First Lil James had a severe allergic reaction, then after we almost knew that caused it. He had another febrile seizure. He is doing much better now. Then the day after that our Jack Russell, Jack passed away.

Life is started to get back to normal for us. I will update more soon.

No More Paci

We are done with them:) James hasn't had one in over three weeks now. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. A good friend of mine told me to limit him having it only at bedtime and nap time. When James woke up, he put it in his crib until he went to bed again. After about a week of that, it was bedtime, James was going to bed. James on his way upstairs said" Lets not give to him tonight and see what happens. I thought" Oh, this is going to be a LONG night!" But he never wanted it again and we never gave it to him. I am so glad that was easy. I don't think potty training is going to be... It will be awhile before that happens I think

Cute little Galvin

Two Years Old!

He is two! I cant believe it, it feels like we brought him home from the hospital yesterday. James had is two year check up this week. The first thing his doctor said was" Wow, he is a big boy!" I thought oh she says that to every kid that she sees. Well after he was weighted and checking to see how tall he is. He is a big boy:) James is now 30 lbs. and in the 75% for his age group. He is 36 inches, which is 90% for his age group. It is a little funny because I am under 5 foot. His head is 90% bigger than kids his age, but his head has always been big. We ALL know who he got that from.

Also if anyone who has a blog has found out how to auto post. Let me know please:) I cant get it to work right. I will post pictures from his party soon....

Left or Right

Well I think James is going to be left handed:) I never really paid attention to what hand he used the most.When Gramme was here, she said" I think that he is going to be left handed". I thought cool I am so he can be too:) So over the last month I really have been watching him. I think that he is going to be a lefty too.. I know that it can be awhile before we found out if but it is nice to dream about it...
